The Drugs Dont Work!

Can Hypnotherapy heal the problems that traditional treatments cannot resolve? Is it our attitudes towards bad habits and illness, that encourages us treat the symptoms and not the causes?

Hypnosis may conjure up images of swinging pendulums and stage trickery, but its a technique thats recently undergone something of a change in attitudes towards its use as a healing tool. It is also enjoying a renewed interest from the scientific and medical community as more and more academic studies show significant positive results. Its also apparent that some people are more able to progress into a hypnotic state than others, some people respond and some dont.

Theres now some pretty conclusive evidence that Hypnosis is effective in pain management and very successful in the treatment of stress, anxiety, fears and phobias. Its widely used in dealing with habitual problems, especially smoking and other forms of addiction. Its also used to control certain psychosomatic problems like seizures and irritable bowel syndrome.

So, whats hypnotherapy all about? Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, which is a little bit like day-dreaming. Have you ever driven somewhere and during the journey your mind has been focused on something completely different to the job of driving, and when you have arrived at your destination, you realise that you remember no details of the drive? You were in a hypnotic trance! You were miles away consciously, but your sub-conscious mind was driving the car and doing it quite adequately without the conscious mind interfering, then suddenly youre back to reality.

Full Conscious Awareness is the state in which we spend most of our waking hours. In this state, our mind is attentive and uses logic to reason, evaluate, judge, and make decisions. Unfortunately, when attempting to make life changes, the conscious mind often gets in the way of our desires, by creating doubts and conflict in our thinking.

Hypnosis is special because it opens up a channel of communication between the conscious and the sub-conscious mind. It is not sleep, but a relaxed state, where the critical faculty is bypassed, where we focus and close down the conscious mind, where we store all of our beliefs and values. We can then allow ourselves to absorb new values, beliefs and desires, thus enabling changes that we want to happen, to occur.

At a subconscious level we dont think in the usual way. Our minds react and we can’t distinguish between reality and unreality, we absorb all the information received through the senses as true, as real.

In the Hypnotic State, you are “experiencing” without questioning, without critical judgment or analysis, you are able to suspend your dis-belief, a little like when you are watching a movie, and the hypnotherapist can make suggestions that are very likely to feel real and to permanently alter your values and beliefs – precisely because your conscious mind is not getting in the way. You are not “judging” or being “critical” of the suggestions.

So why is it that some people respond and some dont? Generally, if two or more emotions are in conflict, the dominant one wins out over the weaker. Imagination wins out over will power, emotions win out over logic, the subconscious mind wins out over the conscious, every time, Our emotions rule. If for some reason, you will yourself not to allow suggestions to be accepted, they won’t be. The habitual smoker who asks for help to quit smoking but is not really committed to that goal, cannot be forced to do so against their will.

By definition, Habits, are those repetitive behaviors that you do “without thinking.” With the critical faculty bypassed and by using the power of imagination, specific thoughts and suggestions can be placed in the subconscious where they can propel someone toward a desired goal or change behavior in a positive, permanent way.

I am not for a moment suggesting that drug treatments should be abandoned in every case. There is clearly a time and a place for drug-based therapies, but all too often people assume that there is a pill for everything that is wrong and that simply is not the case.

In many cases drugs are not a cure, we rely too much on the treatment of symptoms and not enough on the causes of our problems. A change in attitude towards the way we think about illness and well-being, may enable us to treat the causes and eliminate the problems permanently.

Autoblogger Pro, Content Theft Or Innovation?

First of all, there may be some of you that have never even heard of Autoblogger Pro. So lets examine this new script. Autoblogger Pro is really a very simple concept. It integrates itself into a WordPress blog and then uses RSS feeds from news sources and blogs to populate the blog with relevant content. For example, if you want to build a blog that focuses on Mortgages then you would simply locate several blog or news feeds that focus on mortgages and then load them into the admin area of the script. Every time the script is executed it will then pull in the RSS feed from all of the sites youve entered, and post them to the blog. In essence, you end up with a blog that contains highly targeted content, blended and unique because it comes from a variety of sources. All maintained by you with the click of a button! (A sample ABP blog can be seen here: http://www.dogs.pn )

Let me say this now. I am an advocate of Autoblogger Pro and I think that its a fantastic and logical development of the expected use of RSS feeds. Its evolution people, and I think its fantastic!

But this morning I was surfing the web and I happened to do a search for Autoblogger Pro to see what other people were saying. To my shock and dismay I found many sites screaming that Autoblogger Pro users are content thieves , content RAPISTS, Scam artists etc. I found this very disturbing, so I researched a few of their websites to see if their content was in some way being actually stolen. To be honest, I really had to laugh when I looked at most of their sites. Prominently displayed on all of them were buttons for their various RSS feeds, asking for syndication!

What exactly did you expect when you put that feed on your site? RSS is defined as Really Simple Syndication. So arent you asking that your content be syndicated when you put the feed link on your website??? Of course you are. Either they are too uneducated to understand what RSS is and put it on their sites without knowing what it is, or they are just ignorant or nave and believe that only a few people with news readers will use the feed.

Theres a very simple solution for this if youre one of those people crying foul. TAKE THE FEED DOWN. If you dont want your content syndicated, dont put up a feed!

Now there are some responsibilities that must be held by users of Autoblogger Pro, its a very powerful script, and there are options to use it unethically. When syndicating someones content you need to give CREDIT to the source. Remember writing term papers in college or high school? You always have to give credit to your sources. Autoblogger Pro gives you the option in its configuration to give credit and a link back to every post you get from syndication. USE THIS FEATURE. Its only right to give credit where credit is due. If this is done properly, all of those blogs youre getting your content from will stay happy, because they are in turn getting quality links back to their site, from another relevant site, and that in turn helps them in their search engine standings. It may even send them some traffic if your Autoblogger Pro site has some.

Like it or not, syndication of content is what RSS was designed for. If you dont like how your content is being syndicated, dont put up a feed. But if you see the positives for content syndication youll understand that Autoblogger Pro sites will enhance your site, not detract from it. In the long run youll be glad to see your content in tons of places on the web!

Till next time,

If you are planning a ski trip look no further than Winter Park Resort in Colorado. Sure there all lot famous resorts here in Colorado that are household names across the United States, but these well-known resorts are plagued with crowded ski slopes and lift lines. Which is why Winter Park Resort is known as Colorados Favorite. Coloradoans frequent this ski resort more than any other in the state, due to the fact that it is one of the biggest resorts, with the most snow and fewest tourists. It also helps that it is only 67 miles from Denver.

Winter Park Resort is also the home of the legendary Mary Jane. Mary Jane was named as one of the top 5 resorts in North America for bump skiing according to Snow Country Magazine. It is not for the faint of heart, as there are no green runs anywhere on the Jane.

Parsons Bowl takes you above the clouds and the tree line. The bowl offers intermediate to advanced ski runs, and happens to be a favorite of the locals. Once you get to the top you will be looking for your camera, and a warming hut.

Ski Magazine ranks the terrain parks & pipes of Winter Park Resort in the top 10 of the nation. The Railyard is one of the longest terrain parks in Colorado, and covers 15 acres over a 3,650 foot stretch of rail-grinding madness. For beginners there is the Jack Kendrick, which has extra wide rails and non-threatening jumps to help advance to the next level.

There are plenty of great restaurants and bars on the mountain, and like the lift lines, the crowds never seem to be a problem. You can also head to the actual town of Winter Park after the lifts close. It is a quaint little strip of restaurants, bars and shops. There is actually a very good sushi bar in town that often surprises people with its great food and reasonable prices.

Round off the day with a trip to the lighted tubing hill in Fraser. They provide a lift, warming hut and the tubes. And if you would like a day away from the slopes, you can enjoy a snowmobile tour up to the top of the Continental Divide, or get down right old fashioned and jump on a dog sled.

Ski-in lodging can be found just a five minute walk from the base of Winter Park Resort. Slope View Bed and Breakfast offers views of the Continental Divide, unique amenities and a knowledgeable staff. 970-531-2386

Its Your Money – Why Wait?

The money in your IRA is your money. Every cent you put into that IRA was hard-earned, and if you really think about it, its not growing fast enough. Whats worse, youre a few years away from retirement. Can you really bear the thought of NOT retiring in comfort?

Two realities are in play here: first, the stock markets lackluster performance that started in 2000, and second, the real estate boom that had developers scampering for land to satisfy the heightened demand for residential and commercial real estate.

Put your IRA money to work. Your banker and broker will not allow you room to maneuver because they want complete visibility and control over your IRA. In the meantime, theyre earning fantastic returns on your money. Its time you take the drivers seat.

Fundamentally, what do you need?

Sufficient funds in your self-directed IRA.

A Self-Directed IRA Advisor Asset Exchange Strategies, LLC a limited liability corporation can share valuable information and advice.

A low fixed annual fee to pay your custodian, while you maintain full checkbook control at all times. You not they issue the checks for managing your investment.

Provided you satisfy IRA regulations on the type of investments allowed for your self-directed IRA funds (real estate is only one of several possibilities) you can take charge of your financial future by turning that IRA into a high-earning instrument.

The IRSs position is clear, as defined in their publication # 590: your IRA should be a separate and distinct entity from yourself. Whatever investments you make should benefit your IRA, and not you directly. Your self directed ira advisor will be able to explain the subtleties and refinements of this IRS publication.

Its your money. If we told you that there are about $7 trillion dollars sitting in IRAs but of that amount, only 3% are self-directed, wouldnt you be curious about how you can be part of that 3% that unknown to most, are enjoying unheard of returns?

Small Corporate Offering Registration (SCOR)

The Small Corporate Registration was designed specifically for small businesses. It allows small companies to raise equity or debt capital publicly without having to register with Securities and Exchange Commission. It is designed to streamline the state review process by using standardized forms and reviews. Each states separately reviews the companys filings and issues a permit allowing general solicitation to the public in that state.

Permits are generally issue within 30 days ( in Nevada) or it may take up six months (as is the case in California) depending on each states regulatory standard.

This form of registration is available to small securities issuers pursuant to Regulation D, Rule 504, of the Securities and exchange Act of 1933, as amended.

It allows small companies to be able to raise up to one million dollars in equity financing with certain limitations and guidelines. This program is known as Registration By Exemption because it is basically a hybrid between a public offering and a private placement.

This type of offering is often referred to as DPO, or Direct Public Offering because the stock can be sold to the public without the use of an underwriter or agent (Broker). These securities can also be sold to the public and be resold into established secondary market.

Under an SCOR offering a company can advertise for investors, and sell securities to anybody who expresses an interest, this provides a great advantage over a 504 offering where the offering is restricted to only 35 non-accredited investors.

Being able to list the securities on the Nasdaq Bulletin Board or the Pink Sheets is another positive for DPOs because it makes the investment more liquid and appealing to investors.

You can anticipate receiving comments from examiners in many of the states in which registration is sought, depending on the regulatory approach taken by the state, those comments may be limited to request for disclosure of additional information or may require certain terms of the offering to be modified with the states fairness laws.

Failure to resolve outstanding comments can lead to denial of application for registration by the state. The states may make applicable substantive fairness standard as an appendix to the filing instructions or make use other means to make the available.

SCOR offering may be done in selected states and it requires audited financial statements. An experience securities lawyer is required, one that is familiar with the process and is familiar with states requirements.

The issuer must be incorporated since it will selling stock in the corporation, It must have a Business Plan because much of the information required in the offering circular can be taken from the business plan.

A company should gauged investors interest in the offering before launching a DPO. Some of the advantages of a DPO are that it be advertise to the public, the company can solicit investors, and it works best when offered directly to targeted group.

These groups are referred to as affinity groups or groups that have some type of connection with the company, its product or it services. A company that can easy contact its customer has an advantage over one that may have many customers but no information on them at all. For example a company in the medical field may target doctors, but since it is impossible to know all the doctors in the area it may need to purchase a list of doctors from a direct mail company.

Regulation D 504 does not require audited financial but you can only sell to 35 non-accredited investors the rest must be accredited.

Soliciting and advertising for investors is not allowed. An accredited investor: A natural person who has individual net worth, or joint net worth with the person’s spouse, that exceeds $1 million at the time of the purchase.

Accredited investors are natural persons with income exceeding $200,000 in each of the two most recent years or joint income with a spouse exceeding $300,000 for those years and a reasonable expectation of the same income level in the current year.

A broker/dealer registered with the Commission under the Exchange Act purchasing for its own account as an investment is included. [Rule 501(a)(1)].

A trust with assets in excess of $5 million, not formed to acquire the securities offered, whose purchases a sophisticated person makes.

A charitable organization, corporation, or partnership with assets exceeding $5 million. A director, executive officer, or general partner of the company selling the securities. Regulation D 504 Is easy, fast and inexpensive to prepare. No underwriter, broker or agent is required, stock may sold company employees.

None of these type offerings are one-sized fits all each must be evaluated on its own merit and the needs of the company. Nor are these the only options.

Upon completion of the offering the company must request for a Market Maker to file form 15c211 to have the shares of the company publicly quoted.

Piraeus – the port of ancient Athens

Piraeus, also known as Peiraeus or Pireas, is a city located in the prefecture of Attica, towards the southern side of Athens. This city’s main attraction is based on the fact that in ancient Greece, it was used as Athens’ main port, and therefore it played a very important role in the city’s life.

Besides than being the port of ancient Athens, Piraeus has been also named port of modern Athens since 1834. This way, nowadays this port can be seen in action, and although it does not look just like it used in ancient Greece, it still shows some of such antique characteristics which turn it into a very interesting and peculiar place to meet.

The name of this area, Piraeus, means “the place over the passage”, a meaning which is very significant to its past history. In its origins as a populated area, Piraeus was a small island which was connected to the land by a narrow stretch of land. Although at first the area received other denominations, this geographical characteristic finally inspired the actual name.

Although its main port is the most famous one, Piraeus also has two other smaller harbors which have also helped turning this spot into a very active one. The benefits of this spot and its harbor was not noticed until the decade of 490 BC when Themistocles constructed a fortification by this spot with the purpose of being able t easily use the ports and protect the citizens of Athens from Persians attacks.

Piraeus has a population of about 175.000 people, with a density of 15.972 inhabitants per km2. IT is one of the few municipal authorities located within the metropolitan area of Athens. Besides Pireus, this metropolitan area has other municipal authorities among which we can name Keratsini, Korydalos, Drapetsona, Nikaia, Perama, and Rentis.

Piraeus has been home town of several important people, such as per example the Andrianoloulos brothers, who founded the Olympiacos sporting club, Yiorgos Batis, an important Greek musician who lived between 1885 and 1967, or Dimitris Gkogkos, an important Greek musician from beginnings of the XX century.

The Whole Truth About Blackheads

Acne is the most common condition that doctors treat on a daily basis. It can effect anyone from teenagers to people in their older years, and can be caused by many factors. There are also many specific types of acne. One very common type is the blackhead. Blackheads are considered “open comedones”, and whiteheads are “closed comedones”. These usually show up primarily on the nose, chin or forehead but can also be on other parts of the face. Either can cause your skin to be undesirably rough and bumpy.

Blackheads are one of the few types of acne that may be caused by skin hygiene and will never go away on their own. Cleaning your face regularly will prevent most blackheads altogether. They are caused by follicles that have a wider opening than normal. These openings fill with oil and dead cells that have undergone a chemical reaction that caused the oxidation of melanin, which causes the black coloration. To prevent them from forming, it is necessary to consistently wash your face twice a day with a mild soap or face scrub to get rid of the excess oil and dead cells.

The most commonly used treatment is called tretonoin, and can be found in medicines called Retin-A, and Avita. It is derived from Vitamin A and works by increasing the cell turnover and un-sticking the sloughed cells. This causes the plugged material to be removed so that the skin can heal. The downside to this medicine is that it can be irritating to most people’s skin. Another method of extrusion of a blackhead is done by a doctor. They have a tool called a “comedone extractor” that clears them one at a time so that it can heal.

Home remedies have also been experimented with to get rid of blackheads. These are not proven, as they are not tested by any professional doctor. However, if any of them work on your skin, then you have found a cheap and easy way to clear up your skin on your own.

Try warming honey and applying it to the spots that you have. Wash it off with warm water after 15 minutes.

Use an oatmeal mask. Mix oatmeal and rose water into a soft, spreadable paste, and then gently massage onto your skin. Leave it until it is completely dried for 15 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

Dilute lemon juice and apply at least 3 times a day to the affected area. Repeat everyday until they completely disappear.

Squeezing blackheads, just as with any acne, is not recommended because it can make the problem worse. However, if you choose to use a blackhead remover at home, you should open your pores first. This can be done by taking a hot shower and letting the steam open your pores. You could also pat your face with a hot towel or hang your head over a pot of boiled water. Be cautious because there is a chance that doing this wrong will result in a bad steam burn..

Anxiety, Depression and Defense Mechanisms

Sigmund Freud, the Father of Psychoanalysis, came up with his own theory of explaining the occurrence of anxiety and depression as part of human experience. His explanation of this phenomena traces its origin from the three divisions of the psyche. According to Freud, the human psyche is divided into the id, ego, and superego. These three divisions are only acquired eventually as a person also grows. To have a better understanding of the psyche and its three divisions, one should start with the world and its components.

Load Balancing And Yahoo!

A high-volume site like Yahoo! knows that the actual quality of service any web server provides to end users basically depends on network-transfer speed and server response time. Network-transfer speed refers to the Internet-link bandwidth while server-response time depends upon resources including fast CPU, lots of RAM and good I/O performance. Once these resources are exhausted and the web-server is encountering heavy traffic, a problem would surely arise.

Load Balancing

A problematic situation pertaining to difficulty in handling high volumes of incoming traffic can be solved either through installing more RAM on existing machines or replacing the CPU with a faster one. The use of faster or dedicated SCSI controllers and disks with shorter access time can also be done. Software can be tuned so that the operating system parameters and web server software can be adjusted to achieve better performance.

An alternative approach is to improve performance by increasing the number of web servers. This approach would attempt to distribute traffic unto a cluster of back-end web servers that need not be large-scale machines. Web server scalability is achieved when more servers are added to distribute the load among the group of servers or server cluster.

This is what load balancing is all about. It involves the fine tuning of a computer system, network or disk subsystem in order to more evenly distribute the data and/or processing across available resources. Load balancing is distributing, processing and communications activity evenly across a computer network so that no single device is overwhelmed. Busy websites usually use two or more web servers in a load balancing scheme so that when one server gets overwhelmed with requests, traffic is forwarded to another server with more capacity.

There are two probable reasons why a company could want to load balance traffic across firewalls. One is for purely technical reasons and the other is centered on winning business. The technical aspect should be quickly addressed as soon as funds and environment allow.

When there is only one web server responding to all incoming HTTP requests for a website, it may not be able to perform accordingly especially if the website has gained popularity. Loading of web pages will be very slow and some users would have to wait for their requests to be processed. It can come to a point where upgrading the server hardware is no longer cost effective due to the increased traffic and connections to a website.

Yahoo! was granted a patent from a filing done in 1999 regarding coordinating information between multiple servers that share information as well as servers that may cache some of the information. Load balancing devices are becoming very common in supporting high-traffic websites. These devices evolve as websites grow in terms of size, complexity and traffic flow.

The presence of multiple web servers in a server group requires that HTTP traffic be evenly distributed among the servers. These servers should appear as a single web server to the web client. The load balancer simply intercepts each request and redirects it to an available server in the server cluster.

Methods of Load Balancing

Load balancing can be achieved in a number of ways. Choice would depend on the individual requirement, available features, complexity of implementation and the cost. The user company would have to determine its circumstances to determine which option would work best.

The Round Robin DNS Load Balancing is one of the early adapted load balancing techniques. The built-in round robin feature of BIND of a DNS server facilitates cycling through the IP addresses corresponding to a group of servers in a cluster. It is a fairly simple and inexpensive method which is very easy to implement. However, its downside is that the DNS server does not have any knowledge of server availability thus may continually point to an unavailable server. It has the ability to differentiate by IP address but not by server port. There is also the possibility that the IP address is cached by other name servers which would result to request not being sent to the load balancing DNS server.

In Hardware Load Balancing, hardware load balances route TCP/IP packets to various servers in a cluster. This method is said to provide a powerful topology with high availability. It uses circuit level network gateway to route traffic. Its one downside is the higher cost incurred as compared to other methods.

The most commonly used method is Software Load Balancing. Load balancers often come as an integrated component of expensive web server and application server software packages. This method is more configurable based on requirements and can incorporate intelligent routing base on multiple input parameters. An additional hardware needs to be provided to isolate the load balancers.

Algorithm of Server Load Balancing

When HTTP requests are assigned to any server picked randomly among the group of servers, this is called random allocation. It is possible that one server may be assigned more requests than the others, but generally each server gets its share of the load. It can be very easy to implement but the risk of overloading one while under-utilizing another is big.

The IP sprayer assigns the requests to a list of the servers on a rotating basis when the round-robin allocation is used. The first request goes to a randomly picked server in a group so that the entire first request need not go to the same server especially if more than one IP sprayer is involved. The circular order is followed in redirecting the traffic for subsequent requests. The server which has been assigned a request moves to the end of the list to ensure that all servers are equally assigned. The allocation is much orderly than random but it may not be enough based on processing overhead required and when there are differences in server specification in a server group.

The shortcoming of the round-robin allocation has been eliminated by the weighted round-robin version. In this case, a server that is capable of handling twice as much load as the other can get a weight of two. This means that the IP sprayer will assign two requests to the powerful server as against one request assigned to the weaker one. This takes care of the capacity of the servers in the group. However, it does not consider the advanced load balancing requirements like processing time for individual request. An efficient load balancer should be capable of intelligent monitoring that would help it direct requests to the server that is more capable of handling them.

Have You Arranged Where You Are Going To Stay In Cologne For The World Cup

As the FIFA World Cup 2006 descends upon the 12 host cities of Germany, some of the most prominent cities such as Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt will barely bat an eyelid seasoned as they are to staging events on a world stage. For other cities, this is the culmination of arduous preparation and planning and for one or two the month in the spotlight might just be enough to propel them into the league of internationally renowned cities.

Cologne is Germanys longest established cities. It is a city of deep historical ties and cultural depth. The spires of the cathedral are the symbol of Cologne and one of the most recognised landmarks in Germany. As Germanys fourth largest city, Cologne is ready to promote itself on an international stage and attract some of the long weekend tourism that the aforementioned cities receive. Tourism is alive and kicking in Cologne and peaks in the winter as bus loads from the UK, France and Scandanavia visit the citys Christmas markets. There is a feeling in Cologne that it is just perhaps not at the same level as its counterparts and that a spectacle such as the World Cup might just prove to be a tipping point in the fortunes of Cologne.

Cologne will play host to 5 World Cup matches and will derive its share of the anticipated 3-4 million fans set to descend on Germany this summer. Cologne is a pleasant, attractive city with much to offer even the most casual or distracted of visitor and is well geared for tourism. With over 250 hotels in the city and additional accommodation added in preparation for the tournament the infrastructure for tourism in Cologne is on a par with any major city in Europe. Accommodation will be stretched in and around the time of the World Cup and late bookers and prospective visitors would be well advised to check out major hotel resellers (http://www.superbreak.com/resorts/CG-hotels.htm ) and the Cologne city authority site (http://www.koeln.de ) for up to the minute information and advice.

Cologne is well served by a large international airport offering domestic flights to other host cities as well as extensive destinations throughout Europe and beyond. The city is also well served by regional train and autobahn networks and its situation in central western Germany make it a good base to follow your team by car. Most of the major car hire firms have a presence in the city (http://www.easycar.com/aspx/car-hire/location/GermanyAirports.aspx/EN ) and this may be a good option for those traversing the nation to follow their teams fortunes.

Get Rich With Little Work? Here’s How

You’ve heard all the warnings before. There’s no such thing as get rich quick. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If there’s a business that requires no work, I haven’t found it.

If you aren’t very curious, don’t think very hard, and try your best not to look around you, it’s pretty easy to accept those bits of conventional wisdom as fact.

You’ll hear government pamphlets tout them (since when did career government people know anything about getting rich). You’ll hear media people warn you to stay away (and in case you forgot, media folks have spent their lives as corporate employees).

I sometimes think the only reason they tell us we can’t get rich is they want us all to keep working our jobs at low pay! But enough of that.

It’s easy to see people all around you who are doing VERY well financially, not working too hard at it, and enjoying life tremendously:

- The investor who keeps putting money in stocks and soon has hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank.

- The person who buys houses, fixes them up, rents them out, then sells them at a big profit.

- The person who gradually starts several small businesses, using the profits from one to finance another and hiring people to run them.

- The woman or man who joins a Network Marketing opportunity, then builds up their organization and earns thousands per month doing very little work — for life.

Think for a minute, and just about everyone reading this article knows one or more people just like this. They’re earning, or will soon earn, FAR more money than they would working a job. Many aren’t working any harder than they would in a job. And ALL of them are having the time of their lives.

But how am I going to get the cash and time I need to start my own business venture, you ask. These days you don’t need a bankroll OR a lot of time to succeed. You definitely don’t need to quit your job. You can easily run your business in your spare time, even if you have VERY LITTLE spare time.

The vast number of people who want to own their own home-based business have made it possible for organizations to sprout up, all designed with one purpose in mind — to make it EASY for anyone to go into business.

Entry fees are often quite low. For FAR less than you would pay for an office, staff, and equipment, you can have your own high- end web site, automated prospecting system, and even a professional team of sales people who bring home the customers for you.

That last feature is what interests me most! Many people running a home-based business just hate to sell. In fact, that’s the one thing that keeps them from making money. Having a professional team of sales people working for you can solve this problem, since they talk with prospects and sell them on your products and services BEFORE sending them your way.

Because a lot of small businesses are using their service, your cost to have the sales team work for you is quite inexpensive. So stop putting off owning your own home-based business. Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do it. All the tools, ideas, and systems are already in place to make you a HUGE success.

How to Prevent High Blood Pressure!

No doubt, there are number of treatments and medicines available for the treatment of high blood pressure. But as it is said, Precaution is better than cure. So, we must consider this saying and follow the recommended rules in order to prevent the high blood pressure.

Blood pressure is directly proportional to the body weight; it means that if your weight increases the blood pressure also rises. Overweight people have an increased risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, and other illnesses. Losing weight reduces the risk Even if you don’t have high or low blood pressure problems due to being overweight, a healthy weight can help you feel active and lower your risk of blood pressure and other diseases.

It’s not just how much you weigh that’s important: It also matters where your body stores extra fat. Just like the other things your body shape is also inherited from your parents. Some people are Apple-shaped; these have extra fat at the waist while others are pear shaped having more fat at their hips and thighs. The former have higher health risks than the later.
Anyways, wherever that extra weight is you can still prevent it and control your blood pressure. Even if you are already captured by the high blood pressure; no problem just start loosing wait and it will help you lower your pressure.

To loose weight, you should use up more calories than you eat. You need to use up the day’s calories and some of the calories stored in your body fat. Eating 300 to 500 calories less per day, may lead to losing between one and two pounds per week. This is a realistic weight loss. It may seem slow, but would add up to a weight loss of more than three stone in a year.
Increase your physical activity if you really want to loose your weight. Being active controls your weight 10 times by eating less. Besides losing weight, there are other reasons to be more active: Being physically active can help lower high blood pressure and your total cholesterol level while raising HDL-cholesterol, and reduces your risk for heart disease. Physically active people have a lower risk of getting high blood pressure (20% to 50% lower) than inactive people.

You are not being asked to join a gym but at least try to fit various physical activities into your daily routine in small but important ways. If light physical activities done on regular basis can reduce the risk of blood pressure and heart disease.

Do at least 30 minutes of exercise like swimming or running. If you don’t have 30 minutes for exercising, try to find two 15-minute periods or even three 10-minute periods. Try to do some type of aerobic activity in the course of a week or try brisk walking, most days of the week. These exercises can condition your heart and lungs and can prevent you from diseases.
Most people don’t need to see a doctor before they start exercising, since a gradual, sensible exercise program has few health risks. But in case of any health problem like, heart disease, blood pressure problem or any other you should first consult your physician. Your doctor or other health worker can help you set sensible goals based on a proper weight for your height, build and age and help you prevent high blood pressure. Men and very active women may need up to 2,500 calories daily. Other women and inactive men need only about 2,000 calories daily. A safe plan is to eat 300 to 500 fewer calories a day to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week.

Weight Gain During Menopause

Menopause is simply one of several stages in the reproductive life of a woman. Menopause, or the permanent end of menstruation and sterility, is a natural biological process, not a medical illness. Menopause is merely the name given to the last menstrual period. Menopause before the age of 40 is termed early menopause. Hormonal changes cause the physical sign of menopause, but mistaken beliefs about the menopausal transition are partly to blame for the emotional ones. The menstrual blood is partly blood and partly tissue from inside the uterus, or womb. It draws out of the body through the vagina. Periods usually begin around age 12 and continue until menopause, at about age 51. Premenstrual syndrome, or PMS, is a group of symptoms that start before the period. Approximately 1 percent of women experience menopause before age 40.

KETAMINE

Ketamine is a drug for use in human and veterinary medicine developed by Parke-Davis (today a part of Pfizer) in 1962. Ketamine is used to manage pain among large animals, though it has less effect on bovines. Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic developed in 1963 to replace PCP and currently used in human anesthesia and veterinary medicine. Ketamine is relatively safe when used in hospitals. Ketamine is often used at all-night dance parties (raves), nightclubs, and concerts. Ketamine is a liquid, but most users let it evaporate into a white powder, then snort it. Ketamine is an anaesthetic that is available only to physicians and is “scheduled” in several states. Ketamine is known to cause hallucinations, nausea, mental clouding, loss of memory and an amnestic feeling may occur. Ketamine is unusual among injectable drugs since it is injected both intravenously and intramuscularly. Ketamine is a depressant at higher doses and can dangerously reduce heart rate and respiratory function. Now that Ketamine is federally illegal, it is expected that most states will also eventually schedule it. The majority of fatalities occur when ketamine is combined with other CNS depressants like alcohol, benzodiazepines and a mixture of other illicit drugs. The most frequent and sometimes only way to obtain ketamine is through the diversion or theft of legal pharmaceuticals.

Music Downloads – Staying Legal

There are many music download sites on the Internet, though the legality of some of these services is debatable and the companies that produce CDs and records are trying to close some down.

The concept these sites use to justify what they do is that of file sharing between individual members. File sharing is probably legal, but the file sharing of copyright material may not be legal.

The MP3 format has changed the face of music. Music and speech can be converted to MP3 files easily. Some detail is lost but this is not detectable on most MP3 players. MP3 files take up much less space on a hard drive than a conventional audio file. This allows personal MP3 players to hold hundreds of MP3 files on their hard drives, whereas they would only hold 10 -20 conventional audio files.

Music download sites hold a database of files belonging to their members and you access members’ own computers to download the music MP3 files you are searching for. Many of the music files have viruses in them, sometimes deliberately put there. Many more files contain spy-ware, giving the provider access to data on your Internet use or even files on your computer.

Some of the download sites themselves install spy-ware on your computer and then sell the information gathered to third party users.

Better, probably, to pay the small monthly download fee from paying sites and download your MP3 music legally and in safety. This way the artist gets rewarded for their effort, and it only seems fair to pay them for the entertainment they give us. If you like an artist or group then encourage them to produce more music of the same type by paying the small fee that is asked, and stay legal at the same time.

Want to Learn a Snow Sport? Go With a Pro

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: — admin @ 1:24 am

For many, the arrival of winter is simply something to suffer through until the warmer months of spring and summer. But for others, cold weather signals a time to dust off the skis, grab the snow gear and head outside.

While winter sports like skiing and snowboarding can be intimidating for beginners, especially if they’re learning from a friend or family member who’s not trained in these sports, package deals and multi-day lift tickets are leading many to rethink giving these snow sports a try.

Whatever your motivation – whether it is beginner’s curiosity or the desire to ski triple black diamonds – one thing that can help alleviate any fears you may have is a lesson from an experienced instructor.

The Professional Ski Instructors Association and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors have helped advance lessons throughout the country, and many resorts work to help instructors obtain certifications and become better teachers in general.

Instructors are now trained to not only help you understand skiing and snowboarding, regardless of your expertise or how comfortable you are on the snow, but create an overall experience that is fun, positive and catered to your needs.

In fact, one of the most attractive aspects about learning to ski or snowboard is that they can be enjoyed by all ages, instructors say. Kids start as early as the age of 2, which can promote healthy activity and help them build confidence, develop coordination and appreciate the great outdoors. On the other hand, many adults ski or snowboard well into their 70s, enjoying the experience of outdoor activities with family or other physically active seniors.

Besides learning the proper techniques, instructors will go over safety related information with you in order to reduce accidents. Also, instructors will arm you with skiing and snowboarding etiquette. This includes knowing that the skier or snowboarder in front of you has the right of way and learning to check the snow conditions before you head out to the slopes.

Many people who already have skiing or snowboarding experience also find it beneficial to take lessons. From learning new techniques to testing new equipment, intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders are able to reach new levels with professional instruction.

“Certified professional instructors are dedicated to helping guests get the most out of their experience on the mountain,” said Jeb Boyd, snow sports school director at Loon Mountain Resort in New Hampshire.

With resorts like Jackson Hole, Aspen, Telluride, Killington and Mammoth Mountain offering everything from beginner slopes to terrain parks, many are pushing themselves onto the slopes and looking to instructors to help them gain the confidence they need, in an environment that is exhilarating and yet entirely foreign.

Memories of unsuccessful attempts to ski or snowboard leave some with an innate fear of the sports. However, many who venture back onto the snow find that lessons from a certified professional increase their fun, improve their skills and open up a whole new world to them.
